DIY Floral Arrangement for the church

DIY Floral Arrangement for the church

I went to walmart yesterday since AC Moore and Michaels were closed for easter.

I spent $150 buying supplies but not just for this.

These arrangements cost about $50 each to make. I don't think I could get something this lush from a florist w/ real flowers. And I figure I can find places for them in my home afterwards, so I'll really get a lot of use out of them.

My supplies:
2 vases for $1.97 each
3 bags of lilac stones $2.97 each
8 Wisteria branches (the hanging purple flowers, 4 per arrangement) $7 each
4 white flower bunches (can't remember what type of flower they are, 2 per arrangement) $3 each
6 small purple flower branches (can't remember what type of flower they are, 3 per arrangement) $1.76 each
2 tall white flower branches (can't remember what type of flower they are, but they are the ones that are sticking up at the top, 1 per arrangement) $3 each

I am going to sit them on columns at the front of the church on either side of where FH and I will stand.

Let me know what you think.

Please go right ahead. It was soooooo easy. It took me about 20 minutes to arrange both of them. I spent way more time just picking out the flowers in the walmart floral department.

I took a peek at them this morning again, I'm sooooooo happy with the way they came out.

Exactly!! Even at 4 feet away they look real! None of the guests will ever get close enough to know...and even if they do...I don't care!! I'm all about saving my dinero!

I'm going to take them to the RH with me after the ceremony. I'm going to have my DOC transport them.
