DIY Hand Painted Wine Glasses for BM Gifts

Has anyone painted their own wine glasses for BM gifts??

It seems really easy from all the articles written online about it. You can get wine glasses in Ikea for $5.00 for 12 of them and the paint isn't expensive at all. They say to put the design on paper and stick it to the inside of the glass and just trace..

I'm going to try it but I was wondering if anyone has actually done it before??

I did those for my Bride's Brunch to ask my girls. I ended up painting the bottoms and putting Swarovski Crystals. Tracing the decorations was a little tricking and if your not artistic and don't have a lot of time I wouldn't suggest it. FM me if you have any questions about how to do it.

I tried but the paint didn't look as nice as it did in the pictures I saw. So I gave up.

i wouldn't even trust myself to try and do that LOL. I found a great seller on Etsy that does them and they were not that expensive at all! Pics in album.

Rebecca - I was thinking of doing this too but it's not on my priority list... Wanna get together sometime and try it out?

Who was the seller? I couldn't find any on Etsy for less than $15 each...If I do them myself it would be around $2 each..

YES!!! I only have 4 BM's but I was thinking if it works out well I can do it for the mom's and grandma's too...I might do some experiments with some wine glasses I have at home but I need to buy paint first..

I bought mine from 'thecuteglass' on etsy. They were $12 a glass. And she had a coupon around the holidays.

JudiPaintedit. It came out to $10 per glass plus the shipping which didn't amount to much at all
