DIY 'I Do' or 'We DO' -Question?

For anyone who made these..I bought my letters and have to get the paint for them.
What paint do I get??
Is there a special kind i should use?

Im hitting AC Moore after work.

I used regular craft paint. But I got the 'shimmery' paint. It gave the letters a 'pearl' effect.

ETP - Not the best pic, but it kinda shows the shimmer

I used acryllic paint. It is only $0.77 at Michaels this week.
