Re: DIY INVIES

Did you purchase everything from cardsandpockets.com ? I have the same colors, was this hard to print on the paper??? How did you adjust your printer the that size paper? How much was it for the caligraphy on the front?

Re: DIY INVIES

OK I will give you a quick run down.
My Fiance designed the Monogram (both the one on the main invite and then the backdrop on the cards) and set everything up on Adobe Photoshop. We then brought his scan drive to a printer on RT 110 who printed all the insert cards and invites and cut them for us (we gave them the sizes). I bought the pocketfolds off of cards and pockets and my envelopes from them as well. I made sure to measure the RSVP cards only once we received the envelopes (almost a big mistake!). Then I sent all the envelopes to Diana at Pippy Sweets and she did the front, back and small envelopes. The price was unbelievable! I paid $60 + shipping! I picked the square invites so I think it was 6x6 but be warned the postage doubles on the front if you use thick cards.

Feel free to ask me any questions or info on the people who helped along the way! The whole process cost us $450 no including stamps! so worth it. We had to make 150!

Re: DIY INVIES

They're really pretty!

I'm paying somebody to make my invites for me - and they're going to be the same concept. I don't even know how much they're going to cost me yet.

Question about Diana at Pippy Sweets. She prints the addresses on the envelopes? Is she on LI? How does this work?? Thanks!
