For someone thats not a very savvy DIY kind of gal... how do you go about making your own invitations. I have no clue how to start?! Any help is appreciated!

If you but them yourself and want to stay simple, we bought ours from AC Moore. The instructions come with it and will tell you exactly what to do. Here is a pic of our DIY invites. They only thing we added was the jewel to the ribbon and the letter M on the bottom. There are many different styles of writings you can choose from. It was really easy to do.
So 1. you have to choose a card/pocket 2. then you have to choose cardstock that will fit 3. I want to do a pocket one, so I use the pocket for other details like: maps, directions, rsvp cards, reception cards, hotel & registry information, etc...
My question is how do I put a bow around the card without it falling off?
Also would my regular printer be able to print on the cardstock and pocket ones...

I bought invites that come with everything you need, bows, stickers, vellum, etc....& I use their website to create them.
