I just ordered my invitations however, I am going to be adding a metallic backing paper to it to make it look nicer. My question is, what do I use to put them together? I bought photo mounting doubled sided tape. Any other suggestions?

Make sure you check your measurements to ensure that it will fit in the mailing envelopes

Re: DIY Invitations
I used that roll on adhesive you find in the scrapbooking section of the craft store. That is the only think I used and it was fast and simple.

Re: DIY Invitations
I used the roll on adhesive, glue dots, tacky glue and a glue stick. All depending on what I was doing.
You can use the double sided tape on the corners and fill the space in with the glue stick to make sure it doesn't go anywhere!

Re: DIY Invitations
we used about 4 rolls of double stick tape along the entire outter border of each piece of paper that was mounted.
We made ours months in advance, moved them, stored them in hot and cold etc and they never budged or warped. You can just get double stick from the dollar store and it works fine and is neat.
