Re: DIY Invitations
We used pocket invites as well. Here are some pics. They came out so good. We got the paper from paperandmore.com. All the paper that we needed came to $316 and that included envelopes...and we have paper left over. We are inviting about 180 guests.

I plan on making my own invites as well and will be ordering everything from www.paper-source.com I'll let you know how it goes, I'm hoping to do a test run soon just to make sure they'll look ok :)
(I didnt know which 'reply' to hit...still new here. Sorry if I ended up doing it wrong :P)

Re: DIY Invitations
I'm also doing DIY invites. I got a kit from Michaels and they seem pretty easy to put together. You can always find a coupon for michaels on line.

Re: DIY Invitations
finalized pics are in my album. I did a pocketfold invite.
Paper and Pockets were purchased from Cards and Pockets and I cut the paper down to do the size I needed after Printing on my Printer. I then embossed the paper and pockets using embossing tools and supplies from Michaels.

Re: DIY Invitations
It is really a challenge to prepare for your own wedding but hey you're happy right so no problem! I was just looking around and thinking if what kind of wedding paper is good for invitations since I want to make it look more of a DIY wedding.
