Okay, I know that people have talked about this before, but how can I assemble my own invitations (buy everything a la carte), but get the lettering professionally done (thermography). My goal is to save money by assembling it myself but I keep hearing that most printing places will not print your invitations for you. How can I make this all work????? Please help

Re: DIY invitations but w/thermography???
I bought very plain invitations from Costco.com because I wanted the thermography but wanted to save $$. Then I bought metallic cardstock from paperandmore.com backed the invitations, made belly bands and assembled them myself. Just an idea....
Good luck

i'd suggest the same thing... get the plainest invite you can and then add your own embellishments (i.e. mounting it in a pocketfold, on a colored paper, adding a band or rhinestones etc)
Most companies offer a super plain option, so you could get that and still get the printing?
