DIY Invites
I never wanted to spend a lot on invitations because I know they go in the garbage. I purchased inexpensive invites on-line (my fault for not getting a sample) and although I like the invite, I was not happy with the card stock they were printed on. FH was not letting me toss them and start over so I was able to find pochettes and card stock for the response cards. My mom and I spent a few hours yesterday putting them all together. Now they just need to be stuffed and addressed!
The only good thing that came out of me cheaping out is that the invite company was able to send me the file of my blank invite. I have a co-worker making me all my matching stationary (table numbers, bathroom basket sign etc)
And I was able to pull some of the leaf pattern and have vista print make me seals to close the pochettes.
100 invites just under $200. Let's hope postage doesn't break the bank!
