Bump for morning readers! This is a thought that's now on my mind since I truly didn't even THINK about doing my own invites, but maybe its worth while!

Hey there,
I'm not sure how much invites at lafavorita are. but this is what i did, so you can something to compare it to. On etsy.com i found a vendor who designed by rsvp, invite, save the date, and thank you cards for $25. I needed 50 invites and I want pocketfolds. So here is my breakdown:

Design: $25 (of course you can save this if you design it yourself, which i know a lot of brides do, but i didn't want to be bothered.)

Printing: 50 invites * .59 (plus a 25%dicount they had running at thetime) = 22.12

50 rsvp cards -- im doing these at home, but if i had sent them to print they would be .52 each, so that would be $26.

pocketfolds -- 50 * 1.38 minus a 25% discount = $51.75 (but you can also get pocketfolds cheap on paperandmore.com, like 50 for $40)

envelopes -- for invites 50* 17cents minus a 25% discount = 6.35

envelopes for rsvp cards - 50 * 12 cents minus a 25 discount = 4.50

so my grand total for 50 invites = $109.75

now, i know a lot of brides make their own pocketfolds and end up spending like 50 cents a piece, but i didn't want to do all that. and if you're interested fm me and i'll send you some links.

hope this was helpful. (by the way, i spend 6.61 on my save the dates -- 100 postcards via vistaprint. i got a promotion and only paid for shipping.)
