DIY Maps?

Anyone have any ideas how to create your own maps for your invites? TIA

i'll be of no help to you, but i'd love to know. our reception hall had directions and maps but our church doesn't. it's small and i doubt many weddings take place there. so we have to do it ourselves and my mom and i haven't a clue

I bumped a page for you on the 06 boards. The link to the knot page on there is where I got mine from and it worked great!

I had already had a program called 'Microsoft Streets and Trips' that I bought years ago when I was traveling for work. It's directions and maps are much more reliable than MapQuest was at the time. (I'm not sure if MapQuest or Google are better because I only use this program, still.)

There is a program also called 'Microsoft MapPoint' that is much cheaper, $30. I think? I have used this type of program so much, I can't imagine not having them.

I just googled the map, and then saved the image. I then placed it into word & typed the instructions myself. I printed them on card stock that was perforated into quarters (which I bought at staples).
