I have a good laser printer and would like to do my own menu and place cards. Where can I get good paper for them though? Staples didn't have anything my style (too contemporary). I really want them to be fairly plain.
Also - if you used perforated place cards - how did they look?. Were the edges really rough?

Re: DIY menu and place cards
Craft stores like Michaels & AC Moores has cardstock and tons of decorative paper that can be trimmed to size.
www.cheapcardstock.com has great prices for, well cardstock
www.acharmingplace.com has really inexpensive charms if you want to add something extra.
fabric stores like Joann's has good deals on ribbons and such if you need something like that.
