DIY menu question

Anyone who did your own menus, did you put the dessert selections on yours or leave them off?

Since it's such an easy thing to take care of, and Fox Hollow has seven dinner options to choose day-of, I figure I can do it in advance - BUT, there are dessert options that I just don't know when I'll be able to decide between because they're so yummy-sounding!

Do you think I should do the appetizer/entree options, leaving desserts off and the cake & other stuff can be a 'surprise'?

Thanks! I think it makes more sense, because they don't really need the menu to choose dessert - they're predetermined by us. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being lazy

I actually first tried it with the appetizer and the dessert but with the font I was using I had to make the size smaller and it just seemed too cramped. So I figured the only choice they have to make is the main entree so I'm just going to do that and it looks a lot better. I have pics in my album

I just had the same problem, too! So it will definitely only be the list of entrees, no appetizer/salad or desserts mentioned. I downloaded some awesome fonts, ran out of room, and the perfectionist in me would rather have the cool layout I want than a full menu

I love how you layered yours! My menus will have a thank you to family/friends on the back but if it doesn't come together well I'm stealing your idea

lol, thank you I know what you mean about the perfectionist coming out. I wanted a certain font and if I put everything on it I would have to use an 8pt font and if I did that you would need glasses to read it. Plus I figured if I do a last minute change to the dessert or appetizer I won't be screwed.
