I am DIY'ing my menus. I don't need to wait until my menu appointment to start this right? FH and I already know what menu items we are going to have.

what if you end up hating one of your choices when you actually taste it?
i definitely think you can start making them i just wouldn't print them until after your appointment!

I would just confirm everything before you make the menus. I would be a little weary before doing them so early, because I feel like it's so easy for a menu item to switch or change.

oooh ok ... i still wouldn't print them out so early. it doesn't hurt to make them now and print them closer to the date

I would wait a little before actually printing them. It's ok to start designing them though.
I already designed them on Power Point and put in what I think we will end up choosing but that may change after the tasting.
You can also start to buy the materials for it and get them ready.
