DIY or ecard save the dates

Hey girls! Since I'm on a budget I was wondering if any of you have ideas for making diy save the date cards? Or even a good website where I might be able to send a nice ecard?

TIA

Try vista print (www.vistaprint.com).

You can also limit the guests you send STDs to - like only OOTers - or you can be like me and not send them at all!

I used Vistaprint, which was very affordable. I just ordered 25 small magnets at a time for free and paid the slow shipping for about $6. If you limit the people you send them to, it is really great. Plus its a big hit and I love seeing my magnets on people's fridges

We made our STD cards (paper from staples) and made our save the date magnets in Word... you can buy magnet sheets for the printer too. Nice and cheap! and they looked great!

I bought Gartner magnet sheets and printed up our STDs.... bought off of eBay... 2 packs, 100 magnets, found for $7+shipping

I also used the electronic version on the wedding website we created. We used The knot, but ewedding also has a lot to offer. On another note... if you plan to ask guest to upload their digital photos to a photo share site... you mind as well check out Shutterfly... it is free, your guests won't have to register if they don't want to and it doubles for a wedding website. I found this out after we created our site and sent it out.

I used pingg.com for e-save the date. They were really pretty. I hadn't finalized my list at that time, so I only emailed them to the ones I knew for sure I was inviting.

vistaprint.com is awesome. I did my save the dates through them. I got 100 postcards for free. I uploaded one picture as the background and then uploaded a small picture of us onto it as well. I also personalized it and put a poem on the back. It cost like 4 dollars to upload the pictures and 6 dollars for shipping. That's it! They came out awesome. I just sent them out and everybody is saying what a cute idea it was.
