Has anyone purchased their DIY program kits from this company? How are they?
Any other company recommendations?
Also, how do you know how to print it? Do you have to set up your computer properties a certain way?
TIA!

I bought the placecards from AC Moore & on the package it tells you to go to the site & download the template need for the product you bought. There ahould also be instructions if you need to adjust your printer. I have not printed mine yet. HTH

I bought my kits from Michael's. Anna Griffin designs where you print on vellum and attach w ribbon to the card. They have been sent out and everyone raved about how elegant they are. As to printing, Dani731 is right. it is easy to download and the site also gives sample of the wordings to use. The Anna Griffin merely give you a template blank vcard to test print. I think I had looked at the Wilton or Gartner site before doing the Griffin template and the formatting stayed on and centered the wording. Basicly you are doing a word document and the template is telling you what size to use in the page setup before you print. So instead of the typical 8x11 it will be 5x7 thereabouts. The most time consuming thing for me was to decide on what font to use to print and what sizes to use for our names and the time/place details and how much spacing so everything fit on the card. I cut plain paper to the template size and just printed away until I was happy. I think it was fairly easy. Just be careful if you use vellum because you need to play with paper type when printing caise vellum doesn't absorb ink like reg paper and it will take hours for each to dry and not smear. Any questions, just fm me. HTH

I used gartner studios for my programs. it was pretty simple. you dont have to change the settings (just use the template which you get from the gartner studios website) on your printer. just do a couple of practice runs on regular paper to check spacing & make sure it is centered & of course so you know which way to load the paper.
