I'm going to run over to AC Moore - does anyone have any good DIY wedding projects that I can do...?
(I don't want to do DIY STD or DIY invites....)

My mom just did a card box for our e-party, she bought the wishing well cardboard one from A.C. Moore and decorated it w/ ribbon to match my colors and little florettes, it came out beautiful. Also we just bought a basket from Michaels, $4.99 and decorated it for my slipper basket for the guests at the wedding.

Also when we were at A.C. Moore we found 24 gorgeous Hurricane Vases on sale for like $3 each we ended up buying them for my centerpieces and now the florist can spend all my monet on just flowers.

Does anyone know if foamboard comes any thicker than 1/8 inch???
That looks like a real cute idea, do you mind explaining to me how you do it, and do you need an easel to satnd it up?

yes, you do need an easle....
Wellllllllll, actually, you might not.
All it is is foamboard with ribbons covering it. You pin the ribbons to the back of the foamboard and voila!
Does anyone else have more DIY ideas?

Its a basket filled w/ those chinese slippers for your guest to take and use at the reception. Hers a cute poem that I will use next to my basket

just a random piece of info...i would also check out pearl if any of you guys live by one...they have a buncha crafty stuff and u get a discount if u show a student id.
