DIY projects

Has anyone done a DIY yourself yet, and absolutely hated it???? I painted these wood table numbers and they look stupid and I think theyre too big, I'm not using them, FH is gonna be ticked cus I spent like $30 bucks on the supplies, he hates wasting money, but I hate these things!!!

Post them! Are they really that bad?

I'm sure I'm going to hate my DIY stuff - I tried to DIY an e-party CP yesterday and it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked. I'm gonna stick with potted plants.

I'm not even going to attempt another DIY thing. Except STDs and programs b/c those are pretty hard to screw up!

I dont have a digital cam.... all the other pictures in my album are when my MOH comes to visit...lol
Um Lemme try to explain: *clears throat*

They are wooden letters like carved from wood, guess you'd hang them on your garage or house or something, so I anyhoo apparently after I fell and hit my head or was drunk or something I bought these, 1-12 and then bought these wood blocks in the shape of a heart to act as bases, then i used wood glu and glued the numbers to the wooden blocks so they stand up, then I painted them black (original was dry wood) now they are just big black numbers... Reminds me of sesame street goth style or something....

anyhoo on the blocks now they are about 7 inches high, they didnt seem that big in the store...
FH wants to wrap miniature ivy on them or glue those decoration rings on them so they dont look so, so.... ominous

can you prime them and repaint them a lighter color?
