Hi all. My MOH designed my std magnets by just printing my design on white magnet paper and they came out really great. But when you touch them, especially parts that were printed in darker colors, they smudge...does anyone have any ideas for how to avoid smudging?

Re: DIY STD Magnets
you could try (and i say try, by just using a sample crappy one since it might not work) getting that clear contact paper and putting that on top. not sure if/how that will work...but thats all i can think of...
orrr...maybe you can get like a lacquer clear spray? not sure how that would work either...but you could try...

i'm going to agree with the spray.
you can actually try hairspray 1st (in a small area and DO NOT spray it right on top...it's going to make it smudge more if sprayed too close). it'll give you an idea if it's going to work...it just might turn it yellow much, much later on. I know with charcoal drawings i used to do this all the time.
give it more time to dry too. i'm assuming an ink jet printer was used and not a laser jet? the ink never absorbs when ink jet is used *sigh*

one final idea is to bring it to a staples/kinkos and get them laminated. not sure how much that would $ tho..
