Hi, Does anyone know if its possible to do wedding album and parents albums yourself and they would be on par of digital albums that professional photographers provides?
Are there websites/publishers where you can order those albums from?
What software normally used for such task? Thanks

Re: DIY Wedding albums
I actually made mine on Shutterfly.com. I uploaded all the pics I wanted and then made a 12x12 leather covered custom photobook. I just used their layouts and applied my pics to where I wanted them to go. It was actually pretty easy! I already made my book and MIL's book. They came out great! They're actually on sale now.

Re: DIY Wedding albums
I made the parents & grandparents albums on winkflash.com - they came out really nice and cost about $15 each for leather covered books (they are currently having a 60% off sale right now)
my own album, i'm making from picaboo.com (owned by google). I'm going to make a flush mount book with lay flat pages and those START at $350 for 20 pages (10 pages, 2 sides each, in other words). Then each additional page is $10 (per side). There are also cheaper ones i could have done, but i want the flush mount pages.
So in short, yeah you can do it yourself and it's not that difficult, but be aware that it's not that cheap, depending on what you actually want.

I am going to be making our wedding and parents albums on Shutterfly. Actually, I already have the layouts ready to go... just have to get married first and then wait for pics LOL

Oh no, I think my post got deleted! It was a really useful article too, or so I thought! I dont know if the problem wat the article, the wedding blog I linked to, or the photosite itself, but I'll try re-posting the article instead of the blog
