DIY wedding invites- good cardstock

So I bought a PDF file for my wedding invites on etsy, and will be printing them myself. Does anyone know of good places to buy 110lb white cardstock? Looking for like a pretty metalliclly white color that will make the invites look expensive- I am buying pocketfolds as well, but I want to go to a place in person for the card stock to see what it actually looks like before purchasing- ordering cardstock online is making me a little nervous because its hard to tell what the colors will look like!

Cards and pockets have samples you can purchase with free shipping. I believe LCI paper does the same. If you want to go I. Person I would try an arts & crafts store like Michael's and AC Moore.

Lee's Art Store in NYC is amazing! They have EVERYTHING ...go all the way to the 3rd floor. I did the same thing, bought a PDF off of etsy and bought my paper plus envelopes at Lee's Art Store.

To the brides who bought the pdf file, are you printing at home on a regular printer?

We are doing our own invitations too. I bought the paper at the Paper Source. They have a website (http://www.paper-source.com/) you can order from or a store near Roslyn. Everyone there is really nice and helpful, and they have a ton of great options.

The only problem I'm running into now is printing them. I was planning on going to FedEx or Staples, but they are kind of pricey for color prints and both said they may have problems printing on the 4x6 paper... If you're not in love with a particular card stock (like I was) I would just suggest sending away the design to VistaPrint or something like that and letting them print on their own paper... may save you the headache and cost in the long run.

I will be printing at my college on their color printers... I ordered the PDF for the wedding invites so early in advance because I'm going to slowly print them periodically throughout the next year at school... So, the paper and the pocket-folds should be the only expense I have left for the invites (aside from postage)
