DJ $1200???

We just met with our first DJ and we were given a quote of $1200 for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. No frills just regular lighting and music of our choice. Does this seem like a good deal? (FI knows the MC) Any help would be appreciated as I don't know what an average price is. TIA!

that sounds good, our first quote was $1900! that was no frills.

it seems a bit high to me with no frills. We're paying $900 for 1 DJ, 1 MC, 5 hours of music plus a plasma screen.


who did you use? who did everyone use? we haven't booked yet but i could use suggestions

Sounds like a fair price. I suggest you check out Vinny from High Voltage Sounds. He was the dj at my wedding and I loved him.

sounds decent. I am paying $800 for ceremony and reception music, just DJ.
