I am still looking for a DJ, and need some recommendations. We have only met with Body Rock so far, and liked them. has anyone used hem recently? We want to check out a couple more as well. Any advice/recommendations appreciated!! Thank you.

I booked Body Rock. They showcase every other month at Jericho Terrace. Dance Jock is also very good. Hope this helps.

They are located in Seldan on Middle Country Road -- I don't have the number handy -- We are using DJ mike and he has gotten greta reviews on this board. Good Luck .

We booked them also..we thought they were the best..we met with a few other DJ's..they have a website, www.djtommystunes.com they also have a few offices, I know there is one in Selden and also one in Smithtown.

We are also using Tommy Tunes, we are using Joe as our MC. We saw him at a show and absolutely loved him. Their # is (631)732-5886. This is their Selden location. I know they opened up 2 other locations, not sure where though. Good Luck!!!

Nassau County DJs

I was hoping to use a DJ with an office in Nassau, so Tommys Tunes is probably out. Has anyone used In the Mix? I think they are in Garden City.

you might want to call Tommy Tunes...they are opening an office in Nassau, dont remember where..plainview maybe??? dont know when it opens but might be worth a shot..you should call the main office in selden and ask!!

To Annie02 - I highly recommend Parameters

We booked Eddie Terryn with Parameters last fall. We met with a few DJs, including Spin Around Sound and Variety Music, but Eddie was a perfect fit for what we wanted. We didn`t want heavy MCing, and we wanted someone who understands the music we want. Plus, Eddie has lots of experience spinning music, as he used to work for Hot 97, and has been at many of the Island`s hottest clubs. He came to our house for the first meeting, and looked over a list I had started, and quickly told us what would work, and what was likely to get people running off the floor. :) He also came to us for the contract signing. As the wedding is quickly approaching, Eddie has really be a great help with the music and is always fun to talk with. Call him for info at 516-485-4100

We just booked Spin Around Sound!

I went to see Body Rock first, but I didn`t like the fact that we only met with a sales person, and not any of their DJ`s. Their price was good though. Once we met with Tom White, our decision was made. We were able to pay a price we were comfortable with, and we are confident he will do a great job!
