You might want to look into Body Rock. I have seen them at showcases and they are pretty good. They also have percussionists, sax players, singers...and they have great lighting packages. They're a bit on the expensive side...if I could afford them, I would have booked them.

Re: dj
The DJ I am using deejays in Marquee once a week and owns his own company and can provide you with the things you mentioned. His name is Jason Fioto of Signature Events.

Re: dj
We are using LI Sound and they have percussionists and lighting packages. We were interested in Starlight Express also, but they were a little too $$ for our budget. Both are great companies.

Re: dj
i used gary hoffman who was absolutely amazing. he used to dj clubs in nyc but now does weddings. has a very different taste from the typical wedding stuff (ie - not electric slide, etc.) and really can read a crowd and takes your music taste into consideration when selecting songs (people actually thought we hand selected all the songs - they loved it). he doesn't do any extras though - no crazy mc-ing, light shows, or drums - he's just about the music and dancing. and we really had a great party - even the other vendors (and him) were saying how insane it was. fm me if you want more info.
