DJ!

Q: Who is having just a dj and no MC?

Doesn't the matrodee do the same stuff as the MC as far as orgainizing and timing the cake cutting garter toss etc...

What do u think? my wedding will be aprox 125-150 ppl
do u think i need an MC?

We are having both !!!!!! The MC is the one who actually gets everyone on the floor and does all the intros ...

I guess you don't NEED one... but I would recommend one! He keeps everything exciting for your guests... But if you are trying to cut downs on costs, then maybe you can just have a special family member designated to keep the party going??!! Good Luck!

the MC is the one in charge of getting your guests on the dance floor and doing the intros and what not.... I booked both DJ and MC.... MD usually will work with the DJ/MC and figure when things will go on

my dj recommended that for every 75 ppl, should be an additional person...im having roughly 160 so 2 ppl will be fine..one MC and one DJ...

all the DJs i looked at reccommended both. But one of the ones i talked to said unless we want a 'clubby' atmosphere or we really want poeple up and KNOW that we are inviting a bunch of stiffs its not necessary. Ever if we do the cheaper 1 man show package they still bring 2 poeple for 2 reasons 1 as backup and 2 as the person to do the announcing, introductions etc. Im still undecided what to do but i think id rather spend the extra money on the music than on the MC but i dont know.
