Does anyone recommend a DJ they think is really good but not overly priced? Also if you used them how much did you pay?

i recommend STARLIGHT EXPRESS!! don't know if you've heard of them but on long island they are very well known and a GREAT DJ!! i am using them and i have been to MANY MANY weddings they have done and they do an amazing job!! we loveee them and their soo nicee and work with you.. give them a call and check them out, their very reasonable i think!!!

i LOVED starlight express they did an amazing job on my wedding day. BUT i will admit they are more pricey than other dj's. Most dj's you can get for 1k-2k but starlight basic packages start at around 2k and then if you add on things it can get quite high. You will end up spending about $3-4k if you add things to your package, ive even some who spent more with them. While i will always recommend them, if somebody is looking to stay within a certain budget then i will admit they are pricey

ESPO you are right, startlight express can be pricey.. we added a lot of things into our package, we are not getting just the basic so it was pricey for us already.. but i think their worth it, they do an AMAZING job and i loveee them!! i have been to so many parties, weddings and they did my cousins sweet 16 just a few months ago and their owesome so im happy having them for my day!!!

PS: what MC guy did you have?? we wanted COCO but he is booked for our day =[ so we're having stevey g witch is also an owesome guy!!!! =]

Tommy Tunes! They are soo amazing, and we are having the percussionist play along with the DJ! Frankie is going to be our MC! They are so wonderful! I totaly recommend them!

Long Island Sound's base price for MC and Dj is around $1500 and I have heard that they are really good

I FM'ed you back but I used Paul. Thats who i wanted to use and luckily he was available. I am sure Stevey will do an amazing job

I am thinking of booking party harty this week....but no one seems to have seen or heard about them :( My friend works (dances) for this company and she is also one of my bridesmaids....has anyone seen them at a wedding?

I'm using High Energy.. I've seen them at quite a few wedding and I loved them. He always added in everything I wanted at a good price. I have an appt. Monday to book!
