What do you know about NY Nights, genesis, or bravura?

I went to a wedding last December where genesis was the DJ and we loved them. They're the ones who inspired us to get a live percussionist. When we asked our dj about them (barattini) they said when they're booked, they send clients to genesis.

Eta: I've ehard great things about all three though so I don't think you can really go wrong.

I can't speak for any of them except Bravura, we booked with them. We really liked the fact that they only do weddings, and were very professional and mature, yet knew how to have a good time and keep a party going. I recommend meeting with them or trying to attend one of their showcases.

We loved both genesis and bravura. I don't know anything about NY lights but the other two I would definitely recommend checking out bc theyre both great.

Same! LOVE Bravura! I cannot wait to have them for my wedding day. I saw them DJ on NYE which was fun :) they had the dance floor packed all night.

Bravura just recently added an AMAZING Italian MC. You should really contact Bravura and see when their next in-house showcase is. That's really the only way you'll know if they're for you.

Ny nights is great! Love them so much! They were the first vendor besides the venue we booked

LOVED Neil from NYN. He was our top two, but we ended up choosing another vendor. We hesitated only because unless you paid at signing, you were not guaranteed the person you booked with. I'm too OCD to not know everything before hand!

Just a word of advice, many brides have stopped posting because vendors tend to jump all over someone asking advice from other brides. I think LIW was created to have an open forum between brides and vendors in their respective locations. This post would be more appropriate in the Vendors Helping Brides section.
