We're all booked for our July 5th wedding at Lombardis on the Sound, and have booked Ken Hild for our photos!! Really happy with everyone so far, but having some DJ trouble. Met with Tommy Tunes and all their MCs (including the 2 we knew and liked) were available and then less than a month later when we called for a contract, suddenly all but 4 guys who I've never heard of were booked!! I asked if we could meet with them or see them at a showcase at least but was told they all have other full time jobs and I could meet with them a month before our wedding! I'm a little bit of a control freak and cannot handle not knowing our MC will be good. Was going to meet with LI Sound, but called them 4 times to set up a meeting and never got a response so my fiance is done with them...
Any recommendations out there?!?!!

This! I booked with After Hours and am very happy. They'll also price match any quote you received from another DJ company so bring your Tommy's Tunes quote with you! I booked with MC Rob.
We are booked with After Hours and MC Rob is our mc too!!! They are so awesome!! They have a showcase coming up on Thursday and you can go see them all! Phil responds so quick even on Sundays!

We saw LI Sound and while their showcase was amazing they were a bit too commercial for us and the prices were quite high.

Haha too funny! I LOVE Ken Hilds work - we're actually booked with Chris, but I'm sooo excited for our engagement shoot!! Can't wait!!! Finally under 300 days left!

We went with a VERY basic package - basically just MC/DJ for the cocktail hour and reception and the basic lighting - we got them to throw the cocktail and lights in so they were comparable to everyone else.
