DJ advice/recommendations

Hi- My fiance and I are HUGE music fans, and have quite an eclectic taste. Music is really important to us and we want a DJ who can blend our styles and mix songs really well into each other, and really read the crowd the way an event DJ would to play songs that get everyone dancing.

I am looking into these DJs based off of my research and a few referrals, and wanted to see if anyone had any input or feedback on any of these. We just want one DJ - no MC or lights - as we really want to focus on the music.

DJ advice/recommendations - Long Island Weddings

bravura!!! for a DJ and MC it's over your budget, but I'm not sure if doing just a DJ would put you in that range. They are amazing though and they mix so well. They are definitely worth checking out

Although he is not on your list, contact Frank from FM Entertainment.
He will do only the DJ and he will be under your budget.

Def check out After Hours - we're going with them. One DJ and one MC falls just a little above the budget you set for yourself. We really liked Bravura, too, but they were one of the most expensive DJ packages out there....

This was a part of the review from my wedding.

DJ/Video-Top Hat Entertainment- -A++++++++
My DJ- Jack was Fantastic he had my Guest on the Dance Floor all Night. He played not only the songs on my list but he added some other songs as well. Jack had my Wedding really Rocking, my Guest had a Great time. Yesterday DH & I got our Wedding Video, and let me tell you Deb from Top Hat did an Absolutely Beautiful job on our Video.
Deb captured every Special moment of our Day, there was nothing that she missed. I Very Very Highly Recommend Top Hat Entertainment for DJ/Video both Jack and Deb were such a pleasure to work with.
