DJ and Photographer Prices

Hey ladies!

I'm meeting this weekend with a few different photographers and DJs. Problem is, I don't have the slightest clue as to what either of those should roughly cost! Can you guys give me a rough estimate for those two vendors? Just so I know if they're super reasonable or super expensive. I'm getting married in a Friday in August 2014 with roughly 90 guests.

since you're only having 90 people you can probably have just one person as DJ/MC instead of two people (we just have one for 175 guests)- we were quoted as low as $1000 for one person and as high as $2100 for two people depending on companies. obviously lighting, zap shots, ect. is all extra.

for photography the range is amazing- really depends on what photographers you are looking at

I would say dj should be between 1000-2000 depending on what you want (if you want a lot of extras it will prob be over 2000)
And any decent photographer is probably going to start at 2500 (but also depends on what you want)

Like PPs said it totally depends on what you want. Our DJ was around $2000 for an mc/dj duo but we are spending more because of extras. Same with our photographer, he had packages ranging from $2500-$7,000.

agreed!!! a very reasonable photographer is Marco from Marco photo. He has a photo package where he shoots and then gives you the prints for $1850 or for $2850 you get the full day photographer bride groom album, 2 parent albums, engagement photos, and the proofs on DVD....it all depends on what your looking for!!!
Ken hild is also very reasonable at $2200 no albums!! He has amazing work!!! :)

DJs are right on point!! 1k-2k you can find a great DJ! :)

DJ and Photographer Prices

In The Mood DJ is offering us a two-man team and uplighting for the whole room for $1700... if you only need 1 man DJ/MC, it's about $1000. ADA Photography is doing 10 hours of shooting and all the edited, high resolution images on a disc and that is $1500. If you are crafty at all, I would NOT recommend going for a package because it's so cheap and easy to make albums yourself... and it's fun!

It is SO easy to make albums. If you havent done ANY DIY's you should deff make bridal album your first DIY. you will save money on photo packages. my opinion:)
