Ok so I'm pretty much causing my own drama on this one...BUT...I feel so stressed about choosing a DJ!!! I met with Tommy Tunes, FM Entertainment and LI Sound...maybe going to meet with EJ the DJ, Variety Music. The problem is I've never been to a event with any of them....so I feel nervous about picking one. So far, I've felt the best about FM Entertainment, and they have some awesome reviews on here....
I'm not sure what I'm looking for from you guys, but just wanted to vent. Any suggestions, thoughts on any if these DJ's?
OK I'm going to go with my initial gut feeling and book FM Entertainment....next week I'm sure I'll be posting how I'm doubting myself again...gotta love wedding planning!!
that is a good idea to go with your gut instinct

I think the DJ you can't go wrong because you can basically tell them what type of music you want to be played. IMO most DJ's are pretty similar. They play songs. If you are looking for one of those MC guys who runs around and hands out inflatable saxaphones then you need to look for personality...
I agree like I don't want to have an MC that will go crazy and take over the wedding, I just want someone that will have people up and dancing and having the crowd have a good time.. I don't want it to be like a concert, just a good time...

I went to a wedding in PA and they had the CORNIEST guy at this wedding and did the CORNIEST stuff. The guy was dirty dancing with some old hag and then the drunk hag was like 'What happens it Gettysburg stays in Gettysburg!' like it was cool or something. Then there was whole YMCA dance with costumes and all..
