DJ for engagement party

I booked my engagement party!!!

I am expecting about 150 people. Its going to be a buffet. Now, I need to start worrying about a DJ. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good (not a loud, obnoxious party guy type) DJ that doesnt cost an arm and a leg? (I'll save that sacrifice for the wedding)

try High Voltage... price wise they were the best I found...

The Party is going to be in Mineola. High Voltage sent me an FM, and their prices are pretty reasonable. Has anyone used them? I just want a basic night, no events like lights, games, etc.

Try Absolute Entertainment - we used them for our wedding and they were great. Their prices are reasonable. We had Paul as our MC (can't say enough great things about him)

Thanks girls, I'm keeping a list of your recommendations. I think we should start looking asap, because we're going out of state for my cousin's wedding and then we have soontobekunz's wedding may 1st

we are using dc entertainment. His name is danny. I don't have the number on me, but you can call patken photography in holtsville or lindenhurst and they can give you his number. He did my boss's daughters party plus my wedding and beat any price by a long shot.
