HI ladies...I need a really good DJ. I also need a large variety of music... oldies, R&B, house, hiphop, spanish music. These are all a must in the music selections. I have a variety of guests and it is so important that the dj is good. Any recommendations?

I know you LI girls don't like coming to Brooklyn, but my two sons used Classie Sounds on Avenue O. They are the house DJ for both Russo's on the Bay and The Riviera in Brooklyn and they are fabulous. If you go ask for either Steve or Nick to be your MC. Nick brings along his percussion drums with him and Steve has something special too, in fact, Steve trained Nick.

Check out Elegancia Entertainment. They specialize in multicultral weddings. Ask for Jose. He was so nice and easy to work with. He gave a great presentation. We've been to other events that he's done and he was amazing. There is also a girl on here who used them for her wedding and raved in her reveiw.

I am booked with FM, but recently read a VERY BAD review, and am starting to panic!! So I've checked out a few other places, and they are hundreds of dollars more expensive! I don't know what to do!!!

I used In the Mix from Mineola. They were very good. I gave them my music list. You cant go wrong. Good Luck

We used Body Rock. They are located in Carle Place. They were awesome. The dancefloor was packed all night.

We used JoeE from Tommy's Tunes and he was awesome!!! Before I even checked the vendors here I was referred to them by one of my freinds who used them twice. As far as the music choice, they give you forms, etc to write your requests and yes they play exactly what you want!

Check out Barattini productions. The owners name is Kevin and he is amazing! He did my sisters wedding and a few other family functions and people are still raving about how good he was. If I had the $$ I would look into Body Rock. I hear Classic Sounds from Brooklyn are amazing too.
I went with High Energy. I couldn't find anyone to beat his price.
