DJ Help..

I haven't been on the boards in forever because I feel like school is taking up every minute I have lately. This semester is really kicking my butt, so unfortunately wedding planning has taken a back seat for now..

I would really like to start making appointments with dj's next week, but I don't really know where to start. Does anyone have an suggestions or reccomendations?

Thanks..

Re: DJ Help..

Since you have a lot of time, I'd look into Expos where the DJs are performing. It's hard to really judge by the videos they show you- obviously they are going to show you them at their best. Anyway, HTH!

Re: DJ Help..

You have to check out Jack at Satisfaction Guaranteed. I've been to a lot of weddings, and by far the best ones where the ones DJ'd and MC'd by them. In my opinion, absolutely the best. We saw Body Rock at a showcase and had an appt. with them also, and honestly were not as impressed. The quote they gave us was higher for the same package, and we weren't crazy about them at their performace at Jericho Terrace. That's just my opinion....I can FM you quotes for both if you'd like!

Re: DJ Help..

I can only vouche for LI Sound and Then Til Now because I saw them at a showcase and thought they both were great (I am leaning more towards LI Sound).

I hear great things about Tommy Tunes as well.
