I'm trying to figure out how much to expect to pay for my dj. Can you ladies help me with approx. quotes? I know I want a dj and a mc and the plasma screen tv. I don't know what other options I should add or there is to add.

I have a quote list from when I was searching for my DJ. Here it is:
In the mood: basic package is $995
Get in Tune DJ: basic package is $995
VJ entertainment : Basic package is $695 and the most $$$ is $2200 depending on what you want to add
High Voltage: Base package is $850 and goes up to $1250 if you add lights and giveaways. A plasma screen is an additional $500
FM: Basic is $900 and goes up to $1200 if you add an MC
Music by Michael: Basic pacakge is $1400

im still researching DJs...prob wont book one until Jan or Feb 2010..

Elegancia: basic package $1075. with lighting, about 2K and more
Ultimate Sounds: basic package is 1K, lights/MC $1500.

we got a DJ, MC, 360 degree intelligent lighting, 2 plasma screens with the photo montage and those zap photos (or whatever they're called), and the monogram lighting on the dancefloor for 3600.
