FH has been looking into DJ's. Either I am delusional or the quotes we are getting are really high. Can you girls tell me how much I should expect to pay for a package including: Ceremony Music Steel Drummer for CH Dj and MC for reception Photomontage

FM : $150 for ceremony music, steel drums $400, 1 man dj/mc $800 (i think it was like 1100 for a 2 man show), photomontage- i have no idea

We got a package with live performer at cocktail hour (we chose to have a dinner singer instead), dj and mc, percussionist during reception, zap shots and photo montage for a litte less than $3000.

Thanks girls. Most of the quotes we are getting are right around the $3000 mark. I think I might have to skip the photomontage (which is damn expensive).

I would say around 2100-2200 dep. on the dj.
I got my DJ for 800 (if it were with an mc it would be 1100), steel drum for 300, ceremony music 350 for violin and cello and another 300-400 for photomontage.

i spoke to one DJ company that said i cuold make my own photomontage and burn it on a CD. they would air it on plasmas/projector for no charge.

i have a 50 picture photo montage on plasma screens for free with mine. $300 is steep for something like that.

Donna plans to have 'cowboy' Bob Barchik. He was the Best Man at my Daughter, Debi's Wedding. Since Bob is just starting to be a DJ, on the side, he told Donna he would charge $75/hour. I think Donna said the Church will provide the ceremony music. And that would be included in the Church fee, which is anywhere from $400-$6oo+, or so we have heard. Bob is really a cool guy!!! I call him 'cowboy', because he came to Debi and Fred's reception, wearing that cowboy hat!! Mary MOB

we paid 3000 for dj/mc,ch music,lighting package,2 50 inch plasmas with the photo montage and we get all the pics they take that night
