DJ Jeffrey Heart- kind of long
Hi everyone. While I post seldomly, I look at this board often and have gotten some good advice from the women (and men) on here. I wanted to share my experience with DJ Jeffrey Heart. My FI and I just fired him yesterday (our wedding is on 4/24/04) because he and his wife Arlene (business manager) were so difficult to work with and insulting to us. Just like everyone else on this board, we hired several vendors for our wedding day. Jeffrey Heart is the only vendor that I had who required full payment over two months before our wedding date. When I refused to pay (because their contract doesn't actually say that they are entitled to payment at that time), they hounded me and then accused me of having financial difficulties. They also called FH a liar. Prior to this, we had requested that Jeffrey Heart meet with us to discuss music. He offered to meet us in Staten Island on a Sat. morning (we live in Queens) and then claimed that he made every effort to accommodate us. They were extremely unprofessional and I am very disappointed with them. If you have hired them, proceed at your own risk. I wanted to share my experience so that others could avoid the stress and aggravation that they gave me. i am proud to say that we hired a wonderful new DJ.
