DJ list question

DJ list question

I was wondering if we have to do a 'final' meeting with our DJ? When do we give them the lists?

yes..we did our already..you have to hand in all your music selections..they should call you!

Yes, you should meet with them and be very clear about what you want to happen when... spell out for them exactly when and how you want to be introduced, have your first dance, when parent dances are going to be, whose goes first, stuff like that. We didn't do that, and had to keep going to the DJ booth all night, telling them when the toasts were happening, when the cake cutting was, etc. It was annoying!

Maybe you ladies can help me out:

I'm having a hard time choosing a song to dance with my real dad to. He was always in and out of my life, but we have a better relationship now. The songs for father and daugthers are very mush and have tons of words that aren't true in our case. Can anyone recommend a song that is good to dance with a dad to, without being very mushy?

Also, would it be OK to have FH's parents and my parents walk into the same song? I'm thinking 'Beautiful Day'.

Also, do you think it would be cool to have my BP walk into 'Sandstorm', but then for FH and I to walk into 'Get the Party STarted'????? Or do you use the same song???

This is the only thing I'm confused over lOL Go figure...I worked TONS of weddings and can't decide!

I do have most of that done.....I can't believe they didn't call me yet! lol
