DJ/MC combo or two people?

Hey guys! I need some input. Just got my price list in for the DJ, and its an extra $400 to have a two man team, as opposed to a DJ/MC combo. What are your thoughts? I'm only having a wedding of 85 people, but I want it to be a great party. Just for a reference, I'm looking at LI Sound.

Thanks!

DJ/MC combo or two people?

i had to upgrade due to the size of my wedding. with anything above 75 people, it's too much for 1 guy to coordinate with maitre d and do all the talking and all the dj-ing. talk it over with LI Sound, some guys are better at being 'one man shows' than others!

DJ/MC combo or two people?

I am using After Hours and we are having both a DJ and MC. We just want one person to concentrate on music and the other to concentrate on the crowd. Have you tried looking at other DJs? I found LI Sound to be more expensive than other DJs.

DJ/MC combo or two people?

I am using After Hours and have a one man DJ/MC with a wedding of 125-150 people and don't see it even remotely being a problem. I also do not want the DJ to do a lot of talking, so that might be why one person will work best for me.

DJ/MC combo or two people?

I think with 85 people you should be more than fine with a one man show. You know your crowd best though! Do you think you need an MC to help get the party going? If not, I'd book one guy.
