DJ Opinions Please!

Hi All!

The intended and I are on the hunt for a good DJ... we're on a super tight budget, but luckily we're not looking for a lot. The venue's room is pretty small and has its own lighting installed so we don't need extra lighting or sound or anything. We're looking for a DJ who we can give a whole lot of requested songs (we have a ton of music we want to be played) and who will be pretty low-key. We'd theoretically be looking for someone who can do ballroom and line-dances (our families love them) but we could also give them the titles. We don't need music for the cocktail hour.

I loved Vinny from High Voltage Sounds. Very down to earth, followed all my many requests, and great pricing.

I'm booked with Tommy's Tunes and they have been great to deal with so far. Very nice and easy to work with, answering all my questions, etc. They have great reviews and gave me a good deal. HTH!

Definitely check out Absolute Entertainment. We used them and they were awesome and I thought very reasonable. They have their prices listed on their website.

After Hours. They just sent me a bunch of paperwork to fill out asking for lists of songs we want played and songs we don't want played, as well as what radio stations we like to get a feel of what kind of music to play.
