When we started planning, we thought band, but they are pricey. What are you ladies doing?
We are going to see a bunch of bands and dj's - if anyone has recommendations and price quotes, PLEASE FM ME, I would really appreciate it.

we are going with just a DJ...it got to be very expensive to do a band or dj/band combo...We prefer to spend that money on our honeymoon instead lol

If you have the extra money, get the band, if not, then I would do the dj with live musicians....I think thats a great idea bc the musicians interact with the guests more.

i booked w/ FM entertainment (DJ)... they have really good reviews on here and their prices are reasonable. You can add on some live musicians if you want like a percussionist, dinner singer, sax player... we ended up going with a steel drum player for CH (FH is excited about that!)
we booked the band RENEGADE (liparamount.com) after seeing them at one of my bms weddings. They were AMAZING and being that we are such music buffs...a dj was out of the question for us...just a personal preferance. We just had our final meeting with them and I am IN LOVE. They are very good with working with budgets to an extent....totally worth every penny!
