Dj..or DJ/MC????

Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone can give advice..i have narrowed down by Dj company and now we are just deciding between a DJ or a DJ/MC ..we are having about 120 (inviting 150) and its in the afternoon...we dont want a clubby vibe or any of the line dances..just someone to do annoucnements and get people up if they arent..do you think i need the MC?? what did you do?

I'm doing a one man DJ/MC for my wedding. We should have around 140 people. We didn't want someone who was in your face. We saw some DJs that were literally up and screaming and dragging people on the floor, that's just
not us.

We are having a DJ/MC because we want the party to stay alive BUT we specifically said we DO NOT want them to make anyone feel uncomfortable by forcing them up or anything like that.

This.

We went with a one man DJ/MC specifically for that reason. We hate that when we go to weddings so we just want our guests to have fun and not have anyone in their face. I'm not worried about our crowd (about 140) since we have a pretty rowdy group as it is.

i dont feel that a dj/mc is necessery i think the 1 man show is just fine

We have the DJ and MC. I couldnt imagine my wedding without either one of these guys!!!
