I used In the Mood and I was unhappy with them. They invited the BP to join us during our first dance which I DID NOT want and told my BP they wouldn't have to do. They did not play a lot of the songs that were on my MUST PLAY list. They did not announce my father saying grace before dinner, so it didn't happen. And all of this was written down and given to them

My biggest gripe was that they invited females to get up on speakers and dance. I have seen this done at Sweet 16s a million years ago, but thought it was so very inappropriate at a wedding, especially my wedding.

Having said that, the dance floor was packed all night. But I think given my crowd, it would have been crowded if I had a boom box playing dance songs

none of the above! We found our own...he was referred by my best friend who used him 6 years ago!! Tanbride also used him and peabody booked him!!

WOW Becky! You and I both have similar situations...
** *** **** was horrible at my wedding. They disregarded all of our requests, they didn't even play the song that we wanted to be introduced into OUR wedding right. Both my husband and I were very disappointed with their so called services.
If there is any advice that I can give all Brides To Be: for any DJ appointments/finals is that all the 'must play songs' MUST go on that contract! As well as any other requests, ie blessings etc. They will yes you to death and then not play them otherwise...

Deedee just reminded me, they started to play the wrong song for the cake cutting. We had wanted Recipe for Love by Harry Connick Jr. (again it was written down for them) and they started to play that Beatles song sixty-something. Then they cut that song off and played the correct song.
