There's really a wide range of prices... you can kind prices from about $1000 with just one dj to up to $4000+ for dj, mc, lighting, plasma tvs etc... hard to say one price.

I was quoted at 2,500 for a dj, mc, light show, cocktail hour music and a photo montage plus a photographer to take pics thoughout the night to put on the screen. Just wanted to see how that sounds.

Please share your company. I was quoted $4k for a band for an afternoon wedding and thats only for 4 hrs. I dont think I can afford that

thats right around what i was quoted for the same things. i think its pretty reasonable myself.

There's lots of packages, but basics (CH and reception) can be had for $1000+. They can go as high as $5-7k.

Your quote is good. My friend owns a DJ company and we booked him for the engagement party, so as long as we are pleased that night we will book him for the wedding as well.
