DJ Prices

Hi Ladies,

We have been looking for DJ's and they seem to be really expensive. We are just looking for a DJ/MC for ceremony, cocktail and reception with Up lighting. Nothing to crazy, however we are getting quoted for over 2K, is that the norm?

My dj is in that ball park and he isn't doing the ceremony.
I think thats a good price.

Oh wait! I'm sorry, did you want a one person DJ/MC? If so, that price might be a little high. If it's 2 people then 2k is good.

Check out Ultimate Sound DJ. I am paying $1700 for a DJ, MC, CH & ceremony music, 4 hr reception and a percussionist for 4 hours.

Sometimes they are negotiable, try to see if you can talk them down. I'm paying only slightly less then that for all of the same things.

Check out Sensational Sounds in Smithtown. They have a package right now 1,500 for 4 hours of a DJ and MC, the zap photos on the screen, a photo montage, and one color of upligting! In the WHOLE ROOM! It's a great package, I met with Andy he is really nice, he actually gave us a live MC performance! They seem to be great and have good reviews!
