DJ Pricing

What is the average price for a DJ?

We used Get in Tune Productions who was amazing. He charged us $1700 for the 5 hours and that price included the special lighting (My husband had to have it). He did an amazing job and had my dance floor packed all night. I would highly recommend them.

From the vendors I saw (about 7 of them) the prices ranged from about $700 to $3,000 but the average was about $1500. We are using DanceJock.

Go to elitedeejays.com. The guy there is named Mike. He'll give you the best price. He did our wedding for HUNDREDS less than everyone else.

I booked with FM entertainment. They are a vendor on here. I am paying $1,095. DJ/MC with extra light show.

Around 1,100 for an MC, DJ, basic light show, give-a-ways, ceremony music and 5 hours including Cocktail hour and reception.

Vinny from High Voltage is btwn 700-2000.

I'm using Tommy's Tunes...we are getting cocktail hour music, DJ/MC package, and photo montage with 2 50' plasma screens. I think it is a bit over $2K. FM if you have questions. HTH!

You don't have to pay high prices for a great DJ...We used Vinny from High Voltage and he did an AMAZING job!!! His prices are the best around!! He did our wedding and a friends engagement party and he had the dance floor packed at both!!! He is also the sweetest guy around and very honest!!! Good luck!!!

1500 we had coverage for ceremony, cocktail hour and a 5 hour reception. They had some handouts, took pictures and put them on a screen.

I used Tommy's Tunes and paid about $1500.
We were NOT into the whole light show.
They were AWESOME!!!!

Each DJ will have a variety of prices depending on what you want....the best advice is to figure out what you are looking for and meet with each one to go over the packages.
