I'M about to book my DJ and IM just wondering how important it is to have an MC. Should I spend the extra money or should I just not bother?

We had an MC but in all honesty we didn't really need it because he's mainly there to get the crowd going and out friends and family didn't need any help in that department.

I NEED one. I know my FH family hates to dance and already stated they will not be dancing so I need all the motivation I can get.
