DJ question

DJ question

Ladies,

I talked to a DJ last night at the showcase but did not feel any sort of click..neither did FH

For those of you that booked was their a click moment...I also did not like that I asked a straight question (approx how much to do uplighting in my room) and they told me everything about uplighting but answering my question.

They also had no pic..

When we booked with our DJ we just knew it was the one we wanted because we felt very confident and comfortable with the company.

when I met with my DJ I felt immediately that she got what I wanted and was all about providing that. plus she was very excited about all the extra work she will have to do for our playlist. me and her spent just bla-blaing away for an hour about DJ, wedding and just what nots in general - a total click.

u should wait to have the same feel. meet with more DJ's. maybe a showcase meet is not for u guys, I know it wasn't for me. I wanted more attention and longer time to present all my Q's and not to feel rushed and booked on the spot.
so def meet with more!

Thanks ladies..just wanted to make sure that people actually feel a connection with their DJ..I know a showcase is not the best place but I was put off by my ?? not being answered so I would not even set an appt with them

I definitely 'clicked' with my DJ. We had visited about 4-5 other companies and did not feel comfortable, so we knew they were right.

I felt that way at the showcase at WM. The guys at B r a v u r a were so pushy and just like sales people rather than enjoying what they do. FH and I were very turned off and ended up going with the first guy we met with. We have no doubt he's going to make it a kick a$$ party!

I would personally have a really hard time seriously speaking w/any DJ at a showcase. They can't show you footage of the actual MC on parties etc.

Maybe go into their office and see if u get a different feel.

Fh and I clicked with the DJ we met with. We feel really confident and have no worries.

I had seen my dj at three others weddings all three weddings I heard different songs, mixes and the MC is what made it he was great and when I went to meet with them I booked on the spot I was so comfortable.

You have to be comfortable this person is an important part of an important day

FH and I booked with the first DJ we saw there was a click moment however we saw 11 DJ's and I ended up liking 3 of them in the end it came down to who we liked the best.
