DJ Question

Has anyone ever heard of Stevieo's Super Sonic Sounds? I received $200 off any service that i choose and wanted some feedback before I got to see how they are.

I've heard of him, we won $200 off any of his services at the WBLS Wedding Expo in February 2002. Sorry this may be long

Personally, I wasn't feeling him. I wanted to meet, go over his services & possibly see him DJ in action or at least see a video of his work. He did call me (at work) and played a sample tape (OK not great), as well as send me a piece written about him in a Bklyn neighborhood paper, but I needed more info than that.

He lives & has an office in Bklyn, but we live in Queens where he said he also has an office. We made an appt. to meet on a Sunday afternoon at his Queens location since I work nights. Initially he was all for the meeting.

Stevio called me the Friday or Saturday prior to our meeting. He immediately asked if I had the $250 deposit I told him no, it was my intention to meet with him & see/discuss his services before booking and I was not promising to book that day.

His attitude changed & he said no, he wouldn't come to Queens unless I was giving him $$. So I told him forget it. He continued to call even AFTER I told him we'd booked with another DJ, even early on Sunday mornings He finally stopped calling around January, 2003.
