OK so I started to look. I has someone in mind but he charged 2k just for the 4 hours and not ceremony and CH. I really wanted to spend 1k the most on all. Am I nuts to think this is too much? I am having 100-140 people. Small not over the top wedding.
If you can recommend someone in that range, please let me know. This is my last thing to book and I want it done with.
Thanks!

Re: DJ questions..need advice
FM Entertainment is great, they come very highly recommended on the boards and they are reasonably priced. If you just get music for ceremony, CH and reception, without any extras, he will be right around your budget. We booked with them, and I highly recommend Frank, he is the owner. Good luck.

We are paying $1095 with Tommy's Tunes for cocktail hour and 5 hour reception, plus add-ons. Spending around 1K is definitely do-able with a DJ! Good Luck!

I worked with John Arden and his band, The Architects Music Group, they were phenomenal! They're a small band with DJ/MC, def give them a call and see if you can work with their DJ/MC. They charge a lot less than most companies I've intially contacted. Contact info can be found on my wedding review.

me too, I am booked with them too! Frank is my MC too. They have some amazing prices. I wish I could say my total was $1000 but we got all the add ons. But I know it can be done!
